Ryann Abrams, Pharm.D.
Chairperson of the Board 2026-2028

Ryann joined Greater Lawrence Family Health Center in Lawrence, MA in 2022 where she currently works as the Director of Pharmacy. Prior to joining the GLFHC team, Ryann worked for Rite Aid in various field and corporate leadership roles and capacities, and participated on several organizational boards and committees during her time with the organization. Her pharmacy career experience includes pharmacy operations management, PACE program management, learning and development and talent management, LEAN training, university relations and professional recruitment, clinical pharmacy practice, pharmacy management, and field training. She graduated from Northeastern University with her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree in 2004, and was a member of the NU Women’s NCAA Swimming and Diving team. Following graduation, she completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency with emphasis on Ambulatory Care and Geriatrics at the VA Boston Healthcare System in 2005. She has been an active member of MPhA, serving on the Board of Directors since 2017 and as the APhA Massachusetts State Delegate from 2019-2020. During her time away from pharmacy, Ryann enjoys yoga, cooking, and spending time with her family and dogs. Ryann lives in the Merrimack Valley with her husband, Shane, and two children, Levi and Georgia.

Allison Burns, PharmD
President 2026 - 2028

Allison Burns is a veteran, pharmacist, and founder of EMO Health. She is a certified recovery coach trainer and faculty member at Northeastern University and MCPHS University.

Allison’s innovative solutions arise from her diverse experiences, from serving in the military to running a 95-bed addiction treatment facility.

She believes in social responsibility and corporate citizenship, and has been advising government and state agencies since 2017.  She serves a board member and director on several committees including the Massachusetts Pharmacists Association, the Boston Women’s Leadership Council, and former Mayor of Boston Martin Walsh’s Mass & Cass Task Force.

Tiffany Bartke, PharmD
President- Elect, 2026- 2028


Tiffany Bartke is a pharmacist with a passion for advancing the profession of pharmacy to provide the best possible patient care. She began her career as a pharmacy technician in 2007 which ignited her passion for pharmacy and then continued as an intern until she graduated from MCPHS in 2011 with her PharmD. Tiffany has worked across Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont in her roles as pharmacist, pharmacy manager and in her current role of Healthcare Supervisor. She also serves as a Board Member on APHA's Pharmacy Today Magazine to help select relevant content to be shared with the magazine's readers.

Courtney Doyle-Campbell, PharmD, MBA, BCACP, AHSCP-CHC
Treasurer, 2023 - 2027

 

Dr. Courtney Doyle-Campbell is a Clinical Professor of Ambulatory Care and Director of the Pharmacy Distance Learning Pathways at Western New England University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She is a board-certified ambulatory care pharmacist and certified hypertension clinician. She manages the hypertension specialty clinic at Trinity Health of New England Medical Group in Springfield, MA. Courtney operates under a collaborative practice agreement with the Trinity providers.

Courtney is active with the American Pharmacists Association (APhA), serving on the APhA-APPM’s Policy Standing Committee and as a delegate each year for the House of Delegates. At WNEU, she is the chapter advisor for APhA-ASP and the coordinator and trainer for the APhA immunization certificate training program and trainer for the MTM program.

Along with her work at Western New England University and Trinity, Courtney’s areas of interest are primary care, resistant HTN, HF, social determinants of health, motivational interviewing, and advocacy.

 

Leah
Leah Giambarresi, PharmD
Director 2024-2027

I am a lifelong resident of Massachusetts and completed my pharmacy degree at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Currently, I work as the Director of Retail Pharmacy Services for Beth Israel Lahey Health. In this role I oversee the operation of our 5 retail pharmacy locations in Massachusetts. Our pharmacies are integrated within the healthcare system of Beth Israel Lahey health and service both patients and employees throughout the Commonwealth. Prior to this role some of my previous positions include working as a Director for Genoa Healthcare overseeing their pharmacies located within community Mental Health Centers, as well as Pharmacy District Manager roles with Albertson’s (Shaw’s and Star Market), and Rite Aid. I have also served as a Board Member on the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy.

 

I believe it is helpful and important to have someone with my diverse pharmacy experiences that allow me to bring additional insight and knowledge to our decision-making processes when dealing with public safety and healthcare concerns. My experiences both in health system pharmacies as well as traditional retail pharmacies allow me to evaluate and understand a broad range of issues that can arise in todays pharmacy environments.


Hina

Hina Saleem, PharmD
Director 2024-2027

Hina earned a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy in 2009. She began her career with Walgreens as a pharmacy intern in Shrewsbury, MA in September 2009, and she has held various roles within the organization including Pharmacy Manager and Registered Store Manager. In early 2018, Hina was promoted to a District Manager position in Boston and in 2020 moved into her current role as a Healthcare Supervisor. Aside from her commitments towards these roles, she supports the Region leading clinical services as well as other initiatives including serving as the Health Testing Advocate, MTM Lead, Health Equity Lead and Business Resource Group REACH Membership Lead to support diversity and inclusion. Hina’s active participation with various Pharmacy Schools in New England along with Boards of Pharmacy has also shown her strong commitment for the pharmacy profession and our company vision and strategy. Hina has been practicing pharmacy for the past 15 years. She has demonstrated a commitment to quality patient care, safety, and compliance during her professional career. She has given back to the profession through teaching and service through city, state, and national organizations.

Silky Kaur, PharmD, MBA
Director, 2022 - 2028

Silky Kaur, Pharm.D., RPh is a clinical pharmacist for two independent community pharmacy companies in Massachusetts - Dinno Health & Olden's Pharmacy. She is a 2020 Doctor of Pharmacy graduate from MCPHS University in Boston, MA. After graduation, Silky completed a PGY1 community-based residency with Walgreens & MCPHS University focused on medication therapy management, diabetes care, specialty pharmacy practice, and academia. She earned her Master’s degree (MBA) in Healthcare Management at MCPHS University. Her practice interests and current work involves enhanced clinical services in the community pharmacy setting, diabetes management, experiential education and pharmacy advocacy. She is passionate about pharmacy and enjoys advocating for the profession, especially promoting the importance of multidisciplinary, collaborative work. She has been an active member of MPhA since 2018 in various capacities, including her previous role as Pharmacy Student Representative (2019-2021). 
Julie
Julie Lanza CPhT-Adv, CSPT, CPTEd, FMSHP.
Director 2025-2028

A nationally recognized Advanced Certified Pharmacy Technician, Julie serves as the Director of Training and Education at Beth Israel Lahey Health System. Her nearly three decades of experience across diverse pharmacy disciplines have established her as a proud and proven leader in her field.  Julie is a current Board member on the APhA Board of Trustees, and she actively engages with PTCB, NABP, PTEC, ASHP and multiple state & national associations as a speaker, presenter, and member. She previously served a six-year term on the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy, including time as both Secretary and President. Julie also teaches in a local community college's pharmacy technician program.

Throughout her career, Julie has demonstrated a personal and professional unwavering commitment to leadership, education, and professional development. She is dedicated to advancing the role of pharmacy technicians and is a strong advocate for their contributions to patient care. Julie is passionate about coaching and educating the entire pharmacy profession on the crucial role that technicians play in the overall scope of patient care

Michael Nguyen, PharmD, RPh
Director, 2025 - 2028

Michael Nguyen, PharmD, is a dynamic pharmacy leader with extensive experience in outpatient, health-system, and retail pharmacy management. As Outpatient Pharmacy Operations Manager at Beth Israel Lahey Health, he has led transformative initiatives, including the expansion of Meds-to-Beds services and optimizing pharmacy operations for improved patient care. His leadership extends beyond operations to legislative advocacy as an active member of the MSHP Legislative Committee, where he provides expertise on policies affecting outpatient pharmacy. Passionate about mentorship and interdisciplinary collaboration, Michael is committed to advancing pharmacy practice through innovation, policy engagement, and strategic growth.

Francis Cannata, PharmD, CDCES, AAHIVP
Director, 2026-2029
Francis provides patient-centered care as a clinical pharmacist at the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center. He works on a multidisciplinary team of providers as an HIV pharmacist and a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. He is also a preceptor for the PGY1 Residency Program. On his spare time, he enjoys baking, traveling, playing piano and violin, and gathering with friends and family to play Dungeons & Dragons.
Sara_Kheboian

Sara Kheboian, PharmD, RPh

Director, 2026-2029


Dr. Kheboian is a Worcester, Massachusetts native and graduate of MCPHS University Boston. She holds pharmacist licenses in Massachusetts and Maine, and has practiced in both states as a community pharmacist for the Shaw’s division of Albertsons Pharmacies. Currently, Dr. Kheboian is a pharmacy manager with Shaw’s on Cape Cod where in addition to running the bench, she conducts vaccination clinics, connects with her patients through meaningful care, empowers her team, and engages in clinical services such as medication administration. Much of Sara’s pharmacy leadership comes from her involvement with the pharmacy fraternity Lambda Kappa Sigma, where she currently serves as the national chair of the Educational Grants selection committee. Sara first attended MPhA’s Annual Spring Conference as a student while accompanying her father, a recently retired Massachusetts pharmacist. Learning the importance of state organization involvement early in her career, Sara looks forward to furthering her commitment to the profession and her colleagues in the state she is proud to call home. Outside of pharmacy, Sara is an avid reader, loves curating outfits, and spends her days off in the summer visiting as many ice cream stands as possible.
